AIM-quoted CPE expands and diversifies via RTO

China Private Equity Investment Holdings Limited (CPE) has acquired a portfolio of minority interests in four Chinese companies from Elypsis Solutions Limited, under a reverse takeover supported by Crowe Clark Whitehill acting as reporting accountant. The portfolio comprises of companies involved in property development, Traditional Chinese Medicine, mining and wind power and, as such, provides a diverse and significantly larger asset base. The company also completed a fundraising of US$5.02 million and on readmission to AIM changed its name to Adamas Finance Asia Limited.

Crowe Clark Whitehill acted as reporting accountant to the transaction, with its capital markets team comprising Stephen Bullock, Chulanga Jayawardana and Leonor Lee.
